Aging, Multi-Generational Clients, Aging, Multi-Generational Workforce

John first studied gerontology at the Institute on Aging at the University of Michigan where he was awarded an advanced certificate in Aging in 1977. John, and colleagues strategically called upon as needed, provide creative and practical ways to understand and interact with America's aging, multi-generational population. We respond to the unique needs of each business, organization, family or individual with current knowledge and practices, resulting in enhanced opportunities and successful transitions. We specialize in understanding cross-generational relationships and communication.

Since 1994, I, and selected colleagues as needed, have provided strategies and principles for successfully responding to an aging society, aging multi-generational workforce, and aging multi-generational families. Increasingly, as a powerful and persuasive professional speaker and with my own personal growing older, organizations have utilized my personal speaking ability and communication skills to help them in delivering their message to their customers, work force or donors.

The dramatic increase in life expectancy coupled with the vast numbers of boomers turning 60 and millions of boomers now turning 65 will profoundly impact: tomorrow's workforce, demand for products and services, and the need to capture, transfer, and retain vast amounts of organizational knowledge, and expertise otherwise lost through retirements. Individuals, families and corporations will all experience dramatic change due to aging, increased life expectancy and the multiple generations of our society and world.

We can provide the tools and resources you need to successfully respond to these challenges, and to capitalize on the opportunities of these unprecedented individual, demographic, workplace, and societal changes. This much talked about age wave is here. Aging, four-generational work places, businesses, families and clients are a reality. The graying of America and the planet has arrived. Given today's demographics if your organization and/or family does not include a gerontologist or have a gerontologist on retainer it should.
